The Ankh
Significance: The Ankh was a symbol of life. It represented eternal life, and Egyptian gods were often seen carrying it by its loop. It is unknown about the origins of the Ankh and not a single hypothesis has been widely accepted.
The Ankh, even though its origins are unknown, is commonly found in Egyptian art, especially at the fingertips of gods/goddesses. Egyptians would also wear amulets of the Ankh, sometimes alone, or with two other hieroglyphs that meant strength and health. The Ankh was also used on coins from Ancient Cyprus and Asia Minor.
